Privacy notice for the candidate platform dbMove

Please read this privacy notice carefully as it sets out how and why Deutsche Bank Group (including its relevant affiliated companies) (“DB”) uses your personal information when you participate in our candidate platform dbMove, as well as explaining certain legal rights that you have under data protection laws.
What information do we collect?
For successful registration and use of the candidate platform dbMove the provision of personal data is required. Without this data, we will not be able to contact you and adapt our content to your needs.
Which data is collected?
We collect and process your personal information once you register for our candidate platform dbMove. In order to make best use of the platform, it is suggested to keep this data up to date.
Such information may include:
- First and last name, e-mail address, telephone number and private address
- Information on your degree, professional experience, language skills
- Professional interests, desired department / position, desired work location
- Travel and relocation readiness
- How dbMove came to your attention
Optional information may be added in your profile such as:
- Educational background
- Further professional experience
- Skills
- Fields of interest
- Date of birth
- Profile photo
- CV
When visiting the candidate platform dbMove technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page access) is collected. Essential (technically necessary) cookies are used as well as session cookies, which are deleted when your browser is closed. The data will be collected automatically as soon as you enter our website. Tracking cookies are not used.
How do we use your personal information and what is the purpose of the candidate platform dbMove?
We process the above personal data in accordance with data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The objective of the candidate platform dbMove is to maintain relations with Deutsche Bank employees and experienced prospects interested in working at the Deutsche Bank Group (Germany). The processing of your personal data serves to inform you, for example, about job advertisements, events and current information concerning Deutsche Bank Group. For evaluation purposes, we statistically analyze your login data regarding portal functionalities. We do not use personal information for profiling.
Who has access to your information?
The responsibles of dbMove within Deutsche Bank Group have access to all data of the platform. Beyond that, access rights are only provided to individuals involved in the recruiting process within Deutsche Bank. Deutsche Bank AG engaged a third-party service provider (People Path GmbH) to provide and operate the dbMove platform. Hence, we may also share your personal information as necessary with other service providers acting on our behalf, who will only use the information to provide their respective service. However, we will retain control of your data and any third-party service provider that we use must act in accordance with our instructions and our information security requirements.

How long do we keep your personal information?
We will only retain personal data collected for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Users may delete their profiles and accounts themselves through their profile settings and thus exercise their right to delete. Otherwise, after 24 months of non-use of the portal, you will receive a notice that if your profile is not used again, your profile will be automatically deleted after 8 weeks.
What rights do you have regarding your personal information and how can you contact us?
DB is committed to protecting the privacy of your data and is responsible for ensuring that personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
You have various legal rights in relation to your personal information, such as the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify any inaccuracies in your personal data
- Erase your personal data
- Withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data
